KINDERGARTEN AND K.E.
College begins in kindergarten! Small children have a natural curiosity and are born with a desire to learn, and they love it. The Kindergarten and K.E. programs at Faith Baptist School are delightful educational experiences.

Kindergarten Enrichment (K.E.)
K.E. is offered for 4 and 5 year-olds Monday-Friday from 12:15-3:15 PM. It is available as a pre-school class as well as for morning kindergarten students. Students receive Bible instruction through stories, songs, and memorization. Fine arts are taught through music and art. Children learn how to read through phonics with the ABeka curriculum. Learning about our country's history, and exploring the animal world are additional parts of the K.E. subject matter. Games and playtime are utilized to provide a fun learning environment.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten is offered Monday-Friday from 8:30-12:00 PM. Students study the Bible through Bible lessons, stories, and memorization. Students are taught to read through a phonetic approach and additional correlated readers are provided to be used at home and school to accommodate individual differences in reading ability. Math training includes number concepts 1-100, addition, subtraction, money value, and telling time. An interest in good music and good literature is cultivated in kindergarten through songs, games, poetry, and listening activities. The school year is climaxed with a thrilling kindergarten program. Students demonstrate many academic skills they have learned, making this an exciting culmination of an enjoyable year of learning.
