ELEMENTARY PROGRAM
A child's future academic success depends upon a solid foundation. The elementary grades offer a well-rounded program of learning which emphasizes our Christian heritage, traditional values, and a learning program with proven academic results. Each day begins with prayer, pledges, and a practical Bible lesson. Emphasis on the traditional program is placed on mastery of skills in reading, math and writing. Music and art are an important of the weekly curriculum. Each student attends a weekly music class with students in grade three learning to play the recorder and students in grades five and six being eligible for the Beginner Band program. Students in all grades have weekly library and P.E. classes, and grades 4-6 have computer instruction each week. There is much opportunity for students to be involved in programs, spelling bees, speech contests, Bible drill competitions, field trips, and classroom responsibilities to develop their varied interests.
