HOW IT ALL BEGAN

After prayerful concern and consideration, the members of Faith Baptist Church decided to begin a school in the fall of 1971. Faith Baptist School began with 28 students in kindergarten through sixth grades. Parents were concerned with the academic and moral decline of the public schools. They realized that wisdom and knowledge are from the Lord. Faith Baptist School has grown over the years and currently has more than 125 students enrolled in kindergarten through twelfth grades.

Faith Baptist School is an integral part of Faith Baptist Church. The philosophy and direction of the school is provided by the church. The pastor of the church, Dr. Rick Cross, is the superintendent of the school. The school administrator is on the church pastoral staff and functions under the pastoral leadership.

God has greatly blessed the ministry of Faith Baptist School, and we thank Him for allowing us the privilege these past 40+ years to be involved in the education of young people for the Glory of God.
